iPhone Apps for Pet Owners

Even though I have a Motorola DROID phone, I realize that the iPhone is probably more popular. So I was wondering which apps exist on one or the other for pet owners. Since I found quite a few for the iPhone, I’ll list the Android ones in the next post. A quick search on Google for iPhone apps for pets brought me to 5 Great iPhone Apps for Pet Owners on Mashable.com. Here is what I found there, plus some others:

Find an app to help your pet!

iPhone Apps for Pets

  • Pet Notebook ($1.99) Manage information such as vet visits, photos, and identification for multiple pets
  • Off Leash Dog Park This one appears to have been removed since the article was printed. It let owners find an off leash dog park. Hey, you can still use the Search part of Pawfect Lounge Pet Connection to find dog parks! Let me know if you are interested in a mobile version of the site!
  • Pet Phone ($4.99) This lets you find vets, create and manage vet visits, track medications, and chart your pet’s weight to visualize change over time.
  • All Pets Radio Player (Free) Listen to pet-related news, tips, and information on pet radio.
  • Relax Alarm Clock Lite (Free) Alarm clock that lets you record audio to be played as the alarm (record your pet so you can be reminded of them while you’re on vacation)
  • PetFinder (Free) Search for the right pet by city, state/province, share pet profiles via Facebook, Twitter, or email, and bookmark pet profiles.
  • Pet Pals ($1.99) Not sure if this still exists, but it’s a pet simulation game. Take care of a cat, dog, penguin, rabbit, or rock by feeding, bathing, and playing games. Earn money that is used to buy toys and objects.
  • petsMD Mobile Symptom Checker ($1.99) Help diagnose problems for your pet while on the go.
